Yutong Surpasses 1200 Electric Buses in Norway as Zero-emission Transit Accelerates
Norway is rapidly establishing itself as a European leader in zero-emission public transport, and Yutong is proud to be at the heart of this transformation.

Our footprint across the country continues to expand significantly. A milestone moment recently took place in Vestfold, where operator Tide Buss successfully launched 235 new Yutong electric buses in a single day to serve the entire local and regional network. This monumental rollout stands as one of the most ambitious fleet transitions in the region, showcasing both high-capacity operational readiness and seamless execution.
Beyond Vestfold, new Yutong fleets have also entered service across Sunnhordland, Sogn, and Sunnfjord. These deployments bring our total number of operating vehicles in Norway to well over 1,200. Operating reliably across demanding Nordic landscapes demonstrates the strength of our advanced engineering, robust battery safety, and rigorous winter-testing standards.
Reaching this milestone reinforces our commitment to supporting sustainable mobility partners across Europe. We look forward to continuing our journey with operators and passengers alike as we drive the future of clean, reliable public transportation forward.
