Recently, 125 battery-powered E12 electric buses built by Yutong Bus for Athens successfully arrived at the port of Piraeus after an ocean liner voyage, marking an important milestone in the transition from "smart manufacturing in China" to local development in Greece. At 4:00 a.m. local time on April 4, the roll-on/roll-off vessel carrying the batch of vehicles successfully docked at the port and began off-boarding operations. After 5 hours of efficient and smooth work, at 9:00 am on the same day, all 125 Yutong E12 battery-powered electric buses were safely off-boarded and standing in neat formation at the port of Piraeus, signalling that the project has entered the final phase of testing and acceptance, with mass delivery to Athens' public transport and service to the citizens of the region being just a step away.

Currently, all 125 Yutong E12 buses have been brought to the designated site and are scheduled to undergo static and dynamic tests. Yutong will fully cooperate to complete the testing and acceptance works, ensuring safe and stable operation after their commissioning, thus demonstrating Yutong's commitment to quality and performance capabilities throughout the chain.
