125 Yutong E12 battery electric buses for Greece Enhancing green mobility in Athens with Chinese expertise
Recently, the project of 125 E12 battery electric buses developed by Yutong Bus for Athens, Greece, reached an important milestone: on March 5, the buses were officially loaded onto a roll-on/roll-off vessel, starting their journey to Greece. From prototype verification to mass delivery and overseas shipment, Yutong has demonstrated outstanding efficiency and unwavering reliability, strengthening cooperation on green transport and accelerating the electrification of Athens' public transport.

Prior to this, the acceptance committee of the Greek Ministry of Transport conducted a thorough inspection of the prototype at the Yutong factory and the vehicle excelled in the tests on the first attempt. The 125 E12 buses are now on their way to Athens, where they will be integrated into the city's public transport system.
From order placement to customs clearance and final shipment, Yutong has consistently fulfilled its commitments with integrated capabilities, utilizing smart Chinese New energy manufacturing to promote green transportation.
